Mr. Bhatnagar served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cambium Networks (Nasdaq : CMBM) from February 2013 to August 2023. Under his leadership, revenue grew strongly with handsome profitability resulting in Cambium IPO in June 2019. Under his leadership, Cambium shipped 13 million wireless radios to 175 countries worth about $2B in cumulative revenue. Cambium’s mission is to connect the unconnected using its extensive two-tier global channel. Cambium’s wireless connectivity solutions connect people, places and things – especially in developing communities, smart cities, industrial IoT, defense and enterprises such as education and hospitality. Cambium’s industry recognitions include – Chicago Innovation Award, CRN magazine award for Top 100 channel programs and WISPA manufacturer of the year.
Previously, Bhatnagar worked as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ixia (Nasdaq : XXIA) from March 2007 to May 2012 where he enabled strong revenue growth by pursuing high-growth revenue segments such as LTE and Wi-Fi testing and simulation for wireless and wireline networks. He also served as Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Data Networks, a billion dollar revenue division designing and deploying routers, switches and security products in large enterprises and service provider segments. Mr Bhatnagar also served as General Manager for many divisions of Hewlett-Packard Company involving Wireless Network Management and creating innovative Internet appliances.
The University of New Mexico School of Electrical and Computer Engineering named Mr. Bhatnagar as their Distinguished Alumni for 2020.
Mr. Bhatnagar holds Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from Stanford University, along with Corporate Governance Certificate from Harvard Business School. He holds M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India.
